Pasadena Villa Outpatient Expands its Mental Health Treatment Services in Iowa with New Des Moines Clinic

BRENTWOOD, Tenn. (April 28, 2025) — Odyssey Behavioral Healthcare, a national leader in behavioral health treatment, has opened its newest outpatient center in Des Moines to meet the increasing demand for specialized care. This new clinic bridges the treatment gap for individuals who require more support than what traditional outpatient offers or who are transitioning from inpatient or residential treatment.

Des Moines marks Odyssey’s second location in Iowa, alongside the Quad Cities clinic, and expands Pasadena Villa Outpatient’s presence across Florida, Iowa, Michigan, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Ohio, and Virginia.

“One in five adults in Iowa experience a mental health condition1, yet 44% of those in need do not receive the necessary treatment2,” said Richard Clark, CEO of Odyssey Behavioral Healthcare. “By expanding our concierge-level clinical services, Odyssey is addressing the treatment gap and ensuring that more individuals and families receive the support they need.”

The Des Moines clinic offers a comprehensive continuum of outpatient care, including partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient (IOP) programs for adults (18+) with mental health conditions. The clinical team collaborates with local healthcare providers to create personalized treatment plans and ensure a smooth transition to traditional outpatient care.
