Lifeskills South Florida Opens New 34-Bed Fort Lauderdale Campus Providing Mental Health and Addiction Services

Responding to the growing need for detoxification services and acute mental health stabilization, Lifeskills added a campus in Ft. Lauderdale.

Brentwood, TN – August 10, 2023 – Odyssey Behavioral Healthcare, a leading provider of mental health, addiction, and eating disorder treatment, is proud to announce the opening of an additional Lifeskills South Florida campus, centrally located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The 34-bed Fort Lauderdale facility addresses the growing need for acute mental health stabilization and detoxification treatment, providing specialized care for individuals with complex acute mental health and substance use disorders..

Conveniently located on the Holy Cross Health campus and minutes from the Fort Lauderdale International Airport, the new facility addresses the increasing demand for subacute levels of care for mental health and substance abuse. This expansion comes at a crucial time, as recent data from the National Alliance on Mental Illness and the Kaiser Family Foundation, identified that in Florida:
