Odyssey Behavioral Healthcare broadens access to evidence-based mental health care, continuing its mission to close the treatment gap

FRANKLIN, Tenn. (May 6, 2026) — Odyssey Behavioral Healthcare, a national leader in evidence-based mental health treatment, announced the expansion of Pasadena Villa Outpatient’s Virtual Intensive Outpatient Program (V-IOP) to Florida and Ohio. The move builds on existing virtual programs in North Carolina and Virginia, expanding access to structured, clinical-level care for adults across four states.

The V-IOP delivers the same eight-week, clinician-led treatment experience as Pasadena Villa Outpatient’s in-person program — through a secure online platform. The program is designed for adults managing depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, and other complex behavioral health conditions who need more than weekly therapy can provide.

“There is an ongoing need for compassionate, structured care, but not everyone has access to treatment in their local community,” said Richard Clark, CEO of Odyssey Behavioral Healthcare. “By expanding the reach of Pasadena Villa Outpatient’s virtual offerings, we ensure that more people receive the life-changing support they need.”

The program is customizable to each participant’s clinical needs and delivered through a comprehensive, structured format that mirrors the therapeutic depth of in-person treatment. Participants are expected to engage consistently in scheduled sessions, maintain a reliable internet connection, and have access to a private, stable environment where they can actively participate in both group and individual therapy.

“V-IOP delivers the same proven, structured mental health treatment as our in-person program — through a secure, accessible online platform,” said Phillip Reynolds, Division Director of Outpatient Operations. “This expansion means that individuals in Florida and Ohio who are beyond the reach of our physical locations, or who face barriers to in-person attendance, now have a high-quality option for care.”

Referrals and admissions for both new state programs are now open. Pasadena Villa Outpatient accepts a range of in-network insurance plans, reducing financial barriers and improving access for those who need care most.
