FRANKLIN, Tenn. (January 26, 2026) — Odyssey Behavioral Healthcare, a national leader in evidence-based mental health treatment, today announced the opening of Clearview Outpatient San Diego, expanding access to comprehensive mental health services in a region where nearly one in six adults has been diagnosed with depression.
The new clinic, located northeast of downtown San Diego near the I-8 and I-15 interchange, is the sixth Clearview Outpatient location in Southern California, joining facilities in Long Beach, Los Angeles, Pasadena, Ontario, and Woodland Hills.
Clearview Outpatient San Diego offers partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient (IOP) programs for adults 18 and older struggling with anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, PTSD, self-harm, and borderline personality disorder. These structured day programs provide several hours of daily therapy, filling a critical gap for individuals who need more support than traditional weekly counseling but don’t require 24-hour inpatient care.
The expansion comes as San Diego County faces significant mental health challenges. According to the CDC, 16.7 percent of San Diego County adults reported being diagnosed with depression at some point in their lives, according to a CDC report. Among San Diego residents, an estimated 5% are living with serious mental illness.
“Despite these trends, many residents struggle to access timely, affordable care,” said Richard Clark, CEO of Odyssey Behavioral Healthcare. “Our expansion in Southern California is designed to meet this urgent need by providing evidence-based treatment that’s both accessible and covered by insurance.”
Clearview’s multimodal treatment approach integrates group therapy, individual counseling, family therapy, and psychiatric services. This coordinated model enables clinical teams to address complex behavioral health challenges while equipping clients with practical skills for sustained recovery.
“As San Diegans seek compassionate, comprehensive care, this new location provides timely access to life-changing outpatient treatment right in their own community,” said Julie Brunetto, Executive Director of Clearview Outpatient San Diego. “We’re here to support individuals at a critical point in their recovery journey, whether they’re stepping down from inpatient care or seeking more intensive support than traditional outpatient therapy.”
Referrals and admissions are now open, with the center’s in-network insurance options helping to reduce barriers to care and improve access to treatment. Visit Clearview Outpatient San Diego online or contact the admissions team directly.
