Richard Clark has over 30 years of healthcare experience, primarily in executive leadership roles across the behavioral healthcare industry. Prior to joining Odyssey in January 2020, Richard was the President of the Western Group for Acadia Healthcare, where he was responsible for the operation of 48 behavioral health treatment centers and hospitals located in 16 states. Previous facility CEO roles include positions at Universal Health Services, Psychiatric Solutions Inc., and Ardent Health Services. Much of Richard’s experience stems from an extensive track record in driving quality-based, patient-centered care delivery with a strong emphasis on the development of high-functioning leadership teams. At Odyssey, Richard leads a talented group of healthcare industry veterans, driving a disciplined operational strategy through 3 distinct, integrated treatment networks, rapidly scaling Odyssey’s platform to a compelling next stage of growth. He is a Fellow and Board-Certified Healthcare Executive through the American College of Healthcare Executives and a Fellow of the Nashville Healthcare Council.
Rush has been a valued and mission-driven member of the Odyssey leadership team since November of 2021. Over the past several years, he has taken on increasing responsibility leading Odyssey’s financial operations, most recently serving as Vice President of Finance and Development. In that role, he drove a myriad of growth initiatives while overseeing the organization’s FP&A, accounting, budgeting, treasury, and risk management workstreams. In his expanded role as CFO, Rush will continue to leverage his proven strategic and financial acumen to further Odyssey’s mandate to expand access to care for complex psychiatric conditions, eating disorders, and addictions. Rush began his career as a healthcare consultant for ECG Management Consultants before transitioning to industry working in corporate strategy and development roles for LifePoint Health and HCA Healthcare. A Nashville native, Rush earned his Bachelor of Science from Rhodes College and his Master of Business Administration from Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management.
Vicki Smith has over 30 years of experience in mental health. Over the past 20 years, she has led multiple healthcare organizations to implement ethical and best practices to expand access and link people in need of mental health services to care. Prior to Odyssey, Vicki served as the VP of Behavioral Health, Physician and Provider Relations at HCA leading mental health patient access and business development teams at 65 locations, in 17 states. As CMO, she is the growth officer, leading admissions processes, business development, and marketing strategies through talented professional leaders, across Odyssey’s diverse, expanding clinical network of services.
David Bell spearheads the growth of Odyssey’s portfolio in alignment with the Company’s strategic growth plan. In his role, he drives the strategy and development of de novo and organic expansion projects across all levels of care, as well as assessing real estate investments and participating in potential acquisition opportunities. He is a versatile behavioral healthcare executive with 35 years of experience in CEO, startup, multi-facility oversight, and new campus and service line development roles. He has held CEO positions with Ardent Health Services, Psychiatric Solutions, Universal Health Services, and Lifepoint. David holds a Master of Healthcare Administration from the University of Minnesota and a B.S. in Healthcare Administration from Indiana University.
Dr. Jeanne L. Greene holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), a Master of Business Administration (MBA), and is board-certified as a Nurse Executive (NE-BC). In her role as Chief Clinical Officer, Dr. Greene oversees Odyssey’s clinical strategy and quality improvement programs, with a focus on advancing Odyssey’s quality initiatives, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety, and strengthening the organization’s culture of high reliability across all facilities.
During her more than two decades of executive leadership, Dr. Greene has led transformational initiatives that have strengthened clinical quality, safety, and operational performance, including developing innovative staffing models that reduced premium pay costs, leading hospitals through successful Joint Commission, CMS, and CARF accreditations, and implementing strategies that achieved measurable improvements in patient safety, clinical outcomes, and experience of care. Renowned for her data-driven, collaborative leadership style, Dr. Greene integrates Lean Six Sigma, evidence-based practice, and trauma-informed care into her approach to building high-performing clinical teams.
Chad Luttrell joined the Odyssey team in late 2025 with more than 20 years of leadership experience in healthcare IT. Throughout his career, Chad has demonstrated a track record of designing scalable data warehouses, modernizing IT infrastructure, and driving innovation through AI, advanced analytics, and seamless system integration. As chief information officer, he leads the advancement of the company’s technology strategy, strengthens data integration and reporting capabilities, and ensures a secure, scalable infrastructure to support Odyssey’s continued growth and its mission to deliver exceptional behavioral healthcare.
Chad earned his BS in business administration and technology from Tennessee Tech and brings deep expertise in enterprise data architecture, digital transformation, system integration, and operational excellence to his current role. He has held multiple senior executive roles, including serving as chief information officer at Lync Health Partners and American Physician Partners, and as vice president of application development at Surgery Partners.
Kandace Groher leads the company’s human resource operations, including the creation and ongoing leadership of a scalable national infrastructure encompassing talent acquisition and development, employee engagement and retention, compensation and benefits, and field operations support. She champions a highly accountable, collaborative, and inclusive organizational culture, rooted in clinical excellence and client-centered care. Kandace has 15 years of experience providing strategic and operational leadership for human resources in Health and Human Service organizations. She holds an SPHR, SHRM-SCP, and SHRM CA HR Law certifications in addition to a Bachelor degree in Business Administration, a Masters of Public Administration, a post-Masters certificate in Health Administration, and is a trained Rule 31 Mediator.
Maribel Quiala is a psychotherapist and 25-year veteran of the behavioral healthcare industry who has held senior leadership positions with Universal Health Services and Community Health Systems. Maribel oversees clinical services and outcomes, compliance, regulatory, state and national accreditation, and utilization reviews across all facilities while providing clinical due diligence in acquisitions. Maribel holds a BA in Psychology from Seton Hall, an MSW from Barry University, and has completed a year of study at the prestigious Executive Leadership Program at Harvard University’s JFK School of Government.
Kimberly Bauer leads Odyssey’s revenue cycle and financial operations, including securing the health of the company’s revenue, driving collectability of accounts receivables, controlling expenses, and leading financial process improvements. Kimberly has over 15 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle, accounting, and financial leadership. She received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accounting and her Master of Business Administration from the University of Central Florida. Kimberly is a certified public accountant.
Beth McGahee has over 20 years of behavioral healthcare experience, primarily in admissions and operational leadership. Prior to joining Odyssey, Beth served in various leadership roles across the behavioral healthcare field including wilderness, nonprofit, and adult and adolescent psychiatric treatment programs. Beth’s passion for connecting clients to care is deeply rooted in the Odyssey treatment philosophy of clinical excellence and client-centered care. As the VP of Admissions, Beth oversees all facets of the admissions process including front door accessibility and concierge access to services. Beth holds BAs in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Auburn University, and a Master of Public Administration from the University of West Georgia.
With over 20 years of leadership experience in behavioral and medical healthcare, Sam Wright brings deep expertise in clinical operations and strategic growth to her role as Vice President of Nursing Services at Odyssey. She has served as CEO, CNO, and executive team member across healthcare organizations, driving quality improvement and team development.
At Odyssey, Sam leads system-wide efforts to standardize nursing practices, promote collaboration, and elevate patient care. She holds a BS in nursing and an MBA from Cumberland University and is passionate about empowering nursing leaders to create consistent, high-quality experiences across all levels of care.
Katy Smith serves as the Vice President of Payor Relations for Odyssey Behavioral Healthcare, where she leads strategic partnerships with national and regional payors to expand access to high-quality behavioral health services. Katy is an accomplished healthcare management executive with over two decades of experience in managed care contracting, network management, contract modeling, operational strategy, and revenue cycle optimization. Recognized for her ability to navigate complex reimbursement environments, Katy delivers sustainable growth across diverse provider networks. Throughout her career, she has helped health systems and behavioral health organizations thrive in value-based care environments through strategic negotiation, operational insight, and strong relationship management.
Prior to joining the Odyssey team, Katy served as Vice President of Contracting & Analytics at a national managed care consulting firm, where she oversaw a nationwide portfolio of multi-system provider organizations. Her leadership was instrumental in negotiating complex reimbursement models — including value-based and shared-savings arrangements — and in guiding clients through evolving regulatory landscapes. She is recognized for her collaborative approach, data-driven insights, and unwavering commitment to supporting healthcare organizations in a managed care environment.
Alicia oversees the financial operations of Odyssey’s operating facilities. She serves as the primary liaison between facility financial leadership and Odyssey’s COO. She is responsible for providing revenue cycle oversight, process and system improvements, KPI reporting, KPI driving initiatives, and creation of and adherence to policies, procedures, and internal controls. Alicia began her professional career in healthcare as an Accountant for HCA before moving into the behavioral health field, serving as both a CFO and later CEO of an in-patient facility under Acadia Healthcare. She most recently served as a Group CFO for Odyssey. Alicia received her Bachelor of Science from The University of Tennessee at Martin and her Master of Business Administration from Middle Tennessee State University.
Shea Kimbrough has over 20 years of behavioral healthcare experience encompassing a wide range of facility front-end operations, including business development, admissions, marketing, alumni, and program development. With a passion for advancing culturally competent care to specialty populations, Shea champions key Odyssey education, certification, and programmatic initiatives designed to drive growth while remaining responsive to the evolving needs of the clients and communities Odyssey serves.
As VP of Strategic Growth and Business development Shea works across Odyssey to align resources, foster collaboration and identify new opportunities for growth. Shea holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Georgia State University and a Master of Business Administration from Louisiana State University.
Cherie Carter joined Odyssey with over 15 years of behavioral health marketing leadership experience. With a passion for building and leading high-performance marketing teams, Cherie has developed a deep expertise in behavioral health through her previous roles at the Meadows Behavioral Healthcare and Foundations Recovery Network.
As Vice President of Marketing and Communications, Cherie leads the marketing department and is responsible for the promotion and digital growth of Odyssey’s residential and outpatient programs. Cherie received her Bachelor in Arts with a Marketing Minor from Austin Peay State University.
