BRENTWOOD, Tenn. (Jan. 4, 2021) — Odyssey Behavioral Healthcare (“Odyssey”) today announced its acquisition of Shoreline Center for Eating Disorder Treatment (“Shoreline”) in Long Beach and Laguna Hills, California.

Odyssey, headquartered in Brentwood, Tennessee, has a diverse network of services treating adults and adolescents for eating disorders, mental health conditions, substance use disorders, and dual diagnosis. Odyssey provides a continuum of care including inpatient, intensive residential, partial hospitalization, outpatient, and transitional living services through more than 20 behavioral health locations and affiliated outpatient services in 8 states, with more than 300 total beds.

Founded in 1995, Shoreline offers residential, partial hospitalization (PHP), and intensive outpatient (IOP) levels of care at multiple locations in Southern California, serving adults and adolescents of all genders with life-threatening eating disorders. Under the leadership of founder and CEO Rachel Levi, a longtime industry leader and Fellow of the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals, Shoreline’s clinical team has anchored its programs in evidence-based care delivered through authentic, individualized approaches. Accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), Shoreline provides individualized treatment in a recovery-focused setting on the California coast.
