About Odyssey

A national behavioral health organization that expands access to specialized treatment.

Odyssey Behavioral Healthcare operates a network of specialized treatment brands across the United States. Founded in 2015, Odyssey has grown from a single-brand operation into a clinically diverse national network with more than 60 treatment centers treating mental health disorders, substance use disorders, eating disorders, and co-occurring conditions across multiple levels of care.

That growth has been intentional. Each brand acquisition and facility expansion has been guided by a single clinical question: Where are people unable to access the type and level of care their diagnosis requires?

Bridging the Treatment Gap

Millions of Americans meet the clinical criteria for behavioral health treatment, but the capacity to treat them doesn’t exist in most parts of the country. Odyssey Behavioral Healthcare was built to close that gap — not by building one facility and scaling it, but by:

  • Identifying proven treatment brands with deep clinical expertise
  • Bringing them into a shared network with unified standards of care
  • Expanding their reach into underserved regions and levels of care

The treatment gap continues to widen, and Odyssey’s long-term strategy remains focused on expanding access wherever the distance between need and available care is greatest.

Our Specialized Treatment Brands

Odyssey's treatment centers operate under nationally recognized brands, each with focused clinical expertise.

Together, they form a single network spanning a wide diagnostic and geographic range while ensuring clients are matched with programs built specifically for their needs.

What Defines Odyssey

Odyssey's model is built on the principle that specialization produces better clinical outcomes than generalization.

Rather than one brand treating every condition at every level, Odyssey invests in brands with deep expertise in defined clinical areas and connects them through a shared clinical and operational framework called The Odyssey Way. This creates two advantages:

  • Clinical depth Each facility treats a defined population with clinicians trained in that specialty, rather than stretching a generalized model across diagnoses.
  • Built-in continuity A client who begins treatment at one level of intensity can step down to another program within Odyssey, maintaining clinical continuity without starting over with a new provider.

Every Odyssey facility is accredited by the Joint Commission or CARF® International, and the organization publishes annual clinical outcomes reports documenting treatment effectiveness. These aren’t optional benchmarks. They’re built into how the organization operates.
